Delta Mining and Exploration Retains Apex Geoscience Ltd.

LEWISBURG, Ky., Jul 28, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- After a careful screening process, Delta Mining and Exploration Corp. (Pink Sheets: DMXC) has chosen to retain the geological consulting firm Apex Geoscience, Ltd. CEO Dr. Barry Rayment recently met with Apex Geoscience on-site in Montana and decided to retain them due to their extensive experience, client satisfaction, and the wide variety of services offered.

With the recent influx of funds, Delta has moved quickly to begin the next phase of exploration which is expected to be completed by the end of this summer; results will be issued as they become available.

The firm consists of two principals, ten geologists, together with a full support staff with extensive and in depth experience in diamond exploration.
